Important Update: Winnipeg Hail Damage Claims

Following the June 9 storm in Winnipeg, MPI has introduced temporary measures to help manage the high volume of hail damage claims.

Glass-only hail damage claims or undrivable glass damage caused by hail can now be submitted directly through Birchwood Collision.

If your glass repair is major, you can proceed directly with Birchwood Collision. Repairing glass will take priority.

For any hail damage to the body of your vehicle, including dents or exterior panel damage, an MPI claim number is still required before repairs can begin.

Steps for Body Damage and minor glass Claims

Step 1: Pre-book with Birchwood Collision to secure high-priority repair timing.

Step 2: Contact MPI to open your hail damage claim and receive your claim number.

Step 3: Once your MPI claim is complete, send us your claim number and book your repair.
